Some parts of the stone are left completely natural, so it just looks like a regular rock, and some areas (mostly the people) are finely sanded, and polished, bringing out its greenish/brownish colors.

It was created from a combination of rapoko stone (a soft serpentine), and metal, in Zimbabwe. The people’s bodies are sculpted from stone, and the arms, legs, heads, hats, and bicycle, are all metal, welded and soldered together.
